I had an emotional weekend, but I'm glad it's over. I didn't know what to expect on Friday night or Saturday morning. It hurt to see "her" laying there looking peaceful as if she were sleeping. She was dressed in a beautiful yellow dress and matching yellow hat--looking prim and proper and at peace. I pray that she is at peace--that this old world is no longer in her memory but that she's having a grand old time on the otherside--enjoying the fruits her labor--being in the radiant presence of the one on High--knowing that peace is being in the presence of God.
Every time I see the color yellow it will be a reminder of her--the ray of sunshine that she possessed by being in her presence. Her words were subtle--kindness was always at the core.
