If you're on my mailing list then you already know the news--I have
a new publishing home. My Invisible Husband
will be re-released in December by Urban Soul/Kensington.

This month I am busy taking care of administrative tasks as well as
working on a new novel. This novel was written originally as a
screenplay so I can't wait to see how it develops as a full length
novel. I can say that the script I wrote is humorous and has loads
of drama, so I hope to transfer it over to the novel.

I plan on stopping in at the beginning of every month to let you know
what's going on with me writing wise. In between time, every Monday,
check for posts at the My Invisible Husband blog at http://myinvisiblehusband.blogspot.com and at the AskOhShelia! blog at http://askohshelia.blogspot.com.

Below are things I will work towards this year and in no
particular order:

1. Finish writing several new stories (finish or outline at
least one per month)
2. Increase and Maintain more readers
3. Obtain more celebrity interviews
4. See my novels and anthologies published
5. See my novels/anthologies on several national best sellers
list such as Essence, USA Today, NY Times, etc.
6. Receive a huge royalty check (the kind where they roll out
the red carpet at the bank...smile)
7. Sell at least two screenplays
8. Sell movie rights to my novels
9. Balance writing, work, home, etc
10. Sell more articles and short stories to magazines
11. Write Children's Book Series
12. Write Women in Bible Series
