don't get any writing done or work done because you're
too busy playing pac man...lol
February is a short month, but here's not one, but two
newsletters
for your enjoyment.
In the first one, read the interview with
Star
Jones Reynolds as she discusses her new book
“Shine: A
Physical, Emotional
and Spiritual Journey to Finding Love.” I've also listed
some suggestions on romantic movies, CDs and other
miscellaneous treats.

The second newsletter can be seen by clicking on this link:

Authors
Vincent Alexandria, Erick Gray, Marcus Harris,
Keith Lee Johnson, Jihad, Eric Pete, V Anthony Rivers, and
John Wooden share with you their thoughts on love,
romance and so much more.
Enjoy

I am so grateful that my freelance writing career has taken off.
It's on an upward bound and can at times be overwhelming, but
I'm enjoying it all. I've finally gotten organized and on
schedule so that I'm meeting self-imposed deadlines as well
as actual deadlines enforced by whoever I'm writing for.
One thing I’m excited about is being the entertainment writer for
this new magazine. Next week I hope to have all of my articles
written and sent off to the publisher for review. I hope my
vision for the entertainment section matches the overall vision
for the magazine. I’ll keep you posted.
I've done about 6 or 7 interviews with different celebs in the
past 2 weeks, so I'll be busy this week typing up the articles/
interviews so I can submit them and/or post them. I also have
a few reviews pending. I like to listen to a CD several times
before commenting.
I usually find something interesting about everybody I interview.
One particular person stood out. She’s just fabulous and down to
earth and I wish everyone can see beneath the stardom. She’s
someone that young ladies should want to emulate. Normally,
I wouldn’t say “so and so” celebrity would make a great role
model, but in this case, this particular celeb is a great role
model.
I also stopped procrastinating and submitted one of my many
scripts to a producer. I haven't heard anything from him yet,
but I hope no news is good news. In the meantime, I’ll be
working on re-writes of some of my other scripts.
I got everything off to my new publisher by the deadline
(yippee). Now I’m waiting on the next phase—edits. That’s
when the real fun will begin.
February is Black History Month, but why limit yourself to
one month. African Americans are making history every day.
I’m putting out two newsletters this month, so check out the
2nd newsletter and it will have links to some interesting
Black facts.
One particular person I will highlight is the First Black
Fire Chief of Shreveport, LA—Kelvin Cochran. Also in the
February newsletter, you’ll get to meet one of the new
AOL Love Coaches.
